Join Mark Synnott, Ryan Trott and Mary Ignatiadis on a low ratio (3:1) custom backcountry ski trip to one of the most dramatic mountain ranges on Earth.

The Lyngen Alps rise from a spectacular fjordland on west coast of Norway where you and your guides will explore the rugged peaks that surround the Arctic city of Tromso, aka “the Paris of the north.” For five days, we’ll tour to panoramic summits and then ski long, untracked lines that will often lead us the edge of the sea. In the evening, you’ll unwind at the sauna and then gather around the table to enjoy fresh, locally sourced ingredients like cod, reindeer, and wild berries. And since Tromso is located at 69°N, more than 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle—and early March is peak season for the Aurora, your chances of witnessing the Northern Lights are virtually guaranteed.

Your lead guide Mark Synnott is an IFMGA certified mountain guide and a 29-year member of The North Face Global Athlete Team. Now in his fourth decade as a mountain professional, Mark has led trips all over the world and has a track record of consistently meeting his clients expectations—and always bringing them home safe and happy from their shared mountain adventures.
