Iceland provides an amazing spring skiing experience with an extremely “remote” mountain feeling full of big faces and steep 2500-3000′ couloirs! The days are long (20+ hrs) and the snow pack is reasonably stable allowing for big ski tours. There are spectacular views of the Arctic Ocean, fjords, and alpine terrain. Best of all, it’s a short (5 hr) and affordable flight from Boston.
Small group to be guided by:
- IFMGA guide Mark Synnott
- Al Mandell (AIARE Level 3, Level 1 & 2 Course Leader, AMGA Apprentice Ski Guide)
- Hampton Synnott
